- 3 cloves adyo
- 1-2 mabulosi ofiira ofiira, sliced, OR 1/2 tsp. mpaka 1 tsp. tsabola wa cayenne, kuti alawe
- 1 chidutswa chachikulu cha thumbs galangal OR ginger, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 2 + 1/2 Tbsp. nthaka coriander
- 2 tsp. chitowe
- 3 Tbsp. msuzi wakuda wa soy (womwe umapezeka ku malo osungira zakudya ku Asia)
- 4 Tbsp. nsomba msuzi
- 6 Tbsp. shuga wofiira
- 2 Tbsp. masamba mafuta
