- Pafupifupi 1 lb (500 gms) dzungu, mbewu zimachotsedwa, kudula mu "cubes" (kusunga kapena kuchotsa khungu ngati mukufuna)
- 2 anyezi wamkulu amachepetsedwa bwino
- 3 tbsp. finely akanadulidwa adyo
- 3 maluwa owomba ofiira owuma
- 1/2 tsp. fenugreek mbewu
- 1 tsp. chitowe mbewu
- 1/2 tsp.
- turmeric ufa
- 1/2 tsp. tsabola wofiira
- 1/2 tsp. yaiwisi mango powder
- 1/2 tsp. shuga
- 2 tbsp. masamba / canola / mafuta ophikira mpendadzuwa
- Mchere kuti ulawe

- Thirani mafuta mu poto yathyathyathya ndikuwonjezera chitowe ndi fenugreek mbewu ndi mwachangu mpaka phokoso lokhazikika.
- Onjezerani nyemba zofiira zowuma komanso mwachangu kwa theka la miniti.
- Onjezani adyo ndi anyezi ndi mwachangu mpaka anyezi ndi ofewa.
- Onjezerani zonunkhira zopaka ndi kusakaniza bwino. Kuphika kwa mphindi ziwiri kapena zitatu.
- Onjezani dzungu, shuga ndi nyengo ndi mchere. Sakanizani bwino.
- Cook mpaka dzungu ndi lofewa. Fukuta ndi madzi pang'ono pokhapokha ngati mukufunikira.
